Chiaro di luna by Mojsi Harka
This masterpiece “Claire de lune” is a contemplative ceramic sculpture created using the ancient Japanese raku technique, known for its unpredictable textures and organic crackle patterns. The serene face, with closed eyes and softened features, evokes a sense of quiet introspection, as though bathed in the gentle glow of moonlight.
The luminous white glaze, delicately fractured with fine lines of smoke and shadow, mirrors the shifting surface of the moon, lending the piece both fragility and timelessness. Its lying position enhances the dreamlike, meditative aura — inviting reflection on stillness, silence, and the beauty found in imperfection.
Claire de Lune was showcased in several Art Exhibits in Italy, on the Lake Maggiore, and has won prices, such as the Berlin in Art, and praised by well-known and established art critics.

About the Author
Born in Albania in 1968, and a graduate of the University of Fine Arts in Tirana, this remarkable sculptor carries within his work the echoes of resilience and reinvention. After leaving his homeland during a time of profound change, he moved to Italy, where he was faced with the challenge of starting anew. From those struggles emerged a deeper artistic voice—one shaped by displacement, perseverance, and the search for beauty amidst uncertainty.
His inspiration flows from the raw poetry of nature: the elegance of felines, the flight of birds, the grace of the feminine form, and the abstraction of human experience. Through these themes, his sculptures embody both strength and fragility, capturing not only the essence of the natural world but also the story of an artist who transformed hardship into timeless creation.
